Wacker Neuson's largest production plant is located in Hörsching near Linz in Upper Austria. This site is the Group-wide competence center for excavators and dumpers. Here, tracked and wheeled excavators as well as track and wheel dumpers are developed and manufactured for the construction industry, industry, municipalities as well as gardening and landscaping. On a 17-hectare site, the plant was moved into in 2012 and expanded in 2015. In addition to a modern production hall and its own test area, a paint shop and an office building, the site also includes its own apprentice workshop, a research area and a service workshop for training purposes.
